The Data Controller processes the Data of Users in a proper manner and shall take appropriate security measures to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, or unauthorized destruction of the Data.
The Data processing is carried out using computers and/or IT enabled tools, following organizational procedures and modes strictly related to the purposes indicated. In addition to the Data Controller, in some cases, the Data may be accessible to certain types of persons in charge, involved with the operation of the site (administration, sales, marketing, legal, system administration) or external parties (such as third party technical service providers, mail carriers, hosting providers, IT companies, communications agencies) appointed, if necessary, as Data Processors by the Owner. The updated list of these parties may be requested from the Data Controller at any time.

Retention time

The Data is kept for the time necessary to provide the service requested by the User, or stated by the purposes outlined in this document, and the User can always request that the Data Controller suspend or remove the data.

The Data concerning the User is collected to allow the Application to provide its services, as well as for the following purposes: Remarketing and Behavioral Targeting.

Personal Data is collected for the following purposes and using the following services:

We collect personal data to give you the most enjoyable experience in using our services. We take the vast majority of these data directly from you in the following situations:
– when you create a CCO Inc. Hosting client account by ordering a service on our site (billing data that includes your first and last name, address, email, phone);
– when ordering a domain, in certain situations (at the request of the registrars responsible for those domains), we also collect personal data;
– when you send a message through the contact form or support ticket.

The personal data mentioned above are retrieved and collected with the explicit and unequivocal consent expressed by the free transmission, by informing the purpose for which the data are collected as provided in Art. 1.2 , the Customer or User having the right to withdraw his / her consent.

 

It should be noted, however, that we are still collecting a series of information by methods that are not as obvious as those mentioned above but which we will explain in the following:

– Customer account information that is collected during the time you use our services (example: account number, purchases, expiration dates etc);
– Cookies and similar technologies allow us to identify a partial browsing history, accessed links, purchased services, the type of device you are using, and provide us with information about how you interact with our services. – CCO Inc. Hosting staff
– External Accounting Service (only for billing data)
– Collaborators (Security Audit, other services strictly related to the functionality of the CCO Inc. Hosting platform)
– Payment Processors (PayPal)
– Registrars of national or international domains (eg NameSillo, Namecheap and others)
– Online software (Zendesk INC. – only IP address: Live chat support stored on Zendesk servers, Google Adsense — traffic report – stored on Google servers);
– Governmental or civilian, national or international authorities having the object of overseeing compliance with applicable national and international law.

 

Art. 1.4 How to see, modify and/or delete the information that we have stored

You can access your CCO Inc. Hosting client area both for viewing the personal data that we store about you, and for modifying and deleting them.
If you request data to be erased, it will be honored within 30 days, provided these data are not yet used in your relationship with purchased and active services, or if they are not required in other legal situations (tax or prevention and fight against cybercrime, for example).

We abide by commonly accepted standards for taking, storing and securing data, including encryption in certain situations. CCO Inc. Hosting keeps this data as necessary to provide you with the services you have purchased, but also for a number of legal reasons, such as: – Under the law, contract, or other similar obligations applicable to our business – To preserve, resolve, defend and enforce our contractual rights – To keep accounting records

The User’s Personal Data may be used for legal purposes by the Data Controller, in Court or in the stages leading to possible legal action arising from improper use of this Application or the related services.
The User is aware of the fact that the Data Controller may be required to reveal personal data upon request of public authorities.

In addition to the information contained in this privacy policy, this Application may provide the User with additional and contextual information concerning particular services or the collection and processing of Personal Data upon request.

System Logs and Maintenance

For operation and maintenance purposes, this Application and any third party services may collect files that record interaction with this Application (System Logs) or use for this purpose other Personal Data (such as IP Address).

The rights of Users

This Application does not support “Do Not Track” requests.

Changes to this privacy policy

The Data Controller reserves the right to make changes to this privacy policy at any time by giving notice to its Users on this page. It is strongly recommended to check this page often, referring to the date of the last modification listed at the bottom. If a User objects to any of the changes to the Policy, the User must cease using this Application and can request that the Data Controller erase the Personal Data. Unless stated otherwise, the then-current privacy policy applies to all Personal Data the Data Controller has about Users.

User

The individual using this Application, which must coincide with or be authorized by the Data Subject, to whom the Personal Data refer.

Data Subject

The legal or natural person to whom the Personal Data refers to.

Data Processor (or Data Supervisor)

The natural person, legal person, public administration or any other body, association or organization authorized by the Data Controller to process the Personal Data in compliance with this privacy policy.
